Shalom Ministries transforms lives by integrating theology, neuroscience, and soul care to heal the deep ruptures in our connection with God, ourselves, and others.
The Hebrew word Shalom goes far deeper than just peace — it means wholeness, repair, and even the crushing of the chaos that fractures our lives, often beginning in childhood through broken attachment and the absence of attunement from our primary caregivers.

Our Mission:

Theologically grounded in the Word of God, we bring scientific expertise, relational care, and accessible behavioral wellness services into historically disenfranchised communities.

By focusing on childhood experiences, we work to prevent and change generational patterns—offering tools for healthy attachment, emotional regulation, and renewal of the mind.

Fostering Youth Development

With our unique emphasis on spiritual formation and relational neuroscience, we focus on preventative brain development in children and youth by harnessing attachment theory to lay a strong foundation for their future.

We also equip parents to understand the importance of face-to-face engagement, or attunement, as a vital way to build secure connections that foster lifelong emotional, relational, and spiritual health.

"Today, contemporary neurobiologists and attachment theorists are confirming what has been God’s design for human beings since the beginning of creation.

Beginning in infancy, our brains are formed through face to face experiences of love. We develop fully into our true identities through experiences of attuned attachment to God, to self and to others."

-Dr. Pam Pangborn

Based in the Word of God

We believe that, with the help of theology, soul care, and the breakthroughs in neuroscience, we can understand what the Bible has been telling us for over 2,000 years: we are not to be conformed to the patterns of this world, shaped by chaos and dysfunction, but to be transformed by the renewal of our minds.

Underscored by Neuroscience

Neuroscience now affirms we can rewire our brains, break free from destructive patterns, and experience profound peace. By confronting our inner struggles, with the help of God’s presence and the latest scientific insights, we can unlock our full potential for healing and connection.
